Wet Versus Dry Steel Guitar Sound

Listen to the same song, "I Wonder Where You Are Tonight" played with just a small amount of reverb (dry) and then with a lot of reverb (wet). The dry sound uses just a Boss RV-5 set on hall reverb with the level control set at about 9:30. The wet version adds my Yamaha AW-2400 hall reverb to the base RV-5 reverb, resulting in a much wetter sound. Some people will likely prefer one sound over the other. In either case, when the Steel is placed in a mix with other instruments, the reverb tends to dry up quite a bit. I've included some tracks just the steel by itself so you can isolate the steel sound unfettered by the other instruments.
